On September 25, the Center for Industrial Revolution 4.0 (C4IR) in Ho Chi Minh City was officially inaugurated and put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park. C4IR Ho Chi Minh City Center was established based on the cooperation between the Government of Vietnam and the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the period 2023-2026 and is the second center in Southeast Asia after Malaysia. As one of 19 centers globally participating in WEF's C4IR network, Ho Chi Minh City C4IR center is expected to become a new driving force in promoting the city's development.
Attending the inauguration ceremony of the special C4IR Center with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, he emphasized the expectation that the center will help Ho Chi Minh City effectively exploit modern technologies and promote the modernization process. transformation, sustainable development and enhancing the city's position in the global value chain. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen also presented flowers to the founding members and management board of the Center during this event.
C4IR Center operates according to a public-private partnership model, with the participation of large businesses and international organizations. The Management Council includes representatives from the Government, businesses and universities, ensuring connections between fields and promoting research and technology transfer in key industries such as AI, sales and marketing. electronics, biotechnology and IoT.
