HPT drives tech training for VietinBank’s digital transformation

On March 25, 2026, HPT collaborated with Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade VietinBank to successfully deliver a bank-wide online training program on the Service Management Portal system, with participation from 155 branches and the Head Office. The program was conducted flexibly via livestream on the Gapowork enterprise social platform, enabling employees across the system to easily join while enhancing connectivity and interaction.

The training program focused on delivering in depth knowledge and practical guidance on using the Service Management Portal SMP, a key platform in VietinBank’s service management and operations. The adoption of this system is expected to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer service quality.

During the session, key topics were thoroughly covered, including:

•  Overview of the bank wide Service Management Portal SMP
•  Guidance on initiating operational support requests
•  Guidance on initiating parameter management requests
•  Guidance on initiating requests for handling suspicious transactions
•  Guidance on operational support processes at the Payment Center
•  Guidance on initiating IT support requests
•  Guidance on handling inquiries and resolving issues
•  Guidance on SLA explanation processes in complaint handling
•  Guidance on handling and explaining complaints related to personnel and waiting time
•  Guidance on complaint handling support processes
•  Guidance on submitting improvement proposals

The training session saw strong engagement from participating units, with many practical questions raised and promptly addressed, helping staff gain a clearer understanding of how to operate the system in real scenarios.

Pilot phase of SMP system launched at VietinBank

Following the training program, VietinBank will begin the pilot phase starting March 26, 2026 at five representative units to evaluate readiness for system wide rollout, including:

•  Tay Sai Gon Branch
•  Song Han Branch
•  Que Vo Industrial Zone Branch
•  Thanh Xuan Branch
