HPT organizes AI workshop “Exploiting AI tools for business activities”

On May 16, 2024, HPT successfully organized the workshop "Exploiting AI Tools for Business Activities" with the participation of the entire Board of Directors and all HPT employees.

The speaker of the event was Dr. Nguyen Hong Buu Long - Lecturer of the Department of Knowledge Technology, Faculty of Information Technology, from the Computational Linguistics Center - University of Science. Dr. Buu Long shared in-depth knowledge about prompting techniques - an important technique in controlling and optimizing the effectiveness of AI models.

The workshop is about:

1. Prompting techniques:
  • Overview of prompting techniques and their importance in the field of AI.

  • Basic concepts of prompting such as how to set up questions, guide AI models towards specific goals, and how to achieve optimal responses from the model. Analyzing the different prompts, including open-ended prompts and closed-ended prompts.

2. Strategies for prompting in large language models (LLM):
  • Introduction to large language models (LLM) and their operation way.

  • Different prompting strategies such as continuous prompting, contextual prompting, and reverse prompting.

  • Methods to improve the efficiency of prompting, such as optimizing prompts to fit specific contexts or user requirements.

3. Integrating prompting techniques into applications (Word, Excel,...):
  • Illustrations on how to integrate prompting techniques into practical applications in business operations such as Word and Excel to optimize daily tasks such as customer service, data analysis, and process automation.

The Q&A session at the end of the workshop received enthusiastic participation from the Board of Directors and HPT employees. Many questions about prompting techniques and AI applications in specific fields were raised, creating a lively and beneficial discussion atmosphere.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Ngo Vi Đong – Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered a practical speech about the assessment before technical development. He emphasized that understanding and applying AI in daily work is not only the responsibility of the technical departments but also a collective duty of the entire company. He also encouraged employees to continue learning and asking more questions about technical aspects to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in future programs organized by HPT.

In addition to the questions and topics discussed, the leadership and organizing committee hope that employees will continue to ask more in-depth questions about technology, management, and business related to AI applications to effectively collaborate with the Computational Linguistics Center in researching and developing effective topics for the enterprise's operations.







It is believed that the knowledge and skills shared at the event will help HPT employees apply AI more effectively in their work. The Board of Directors also committed to investing in AI application development to improve operational efficiency and deliver value.
